The registration fees for TRACE 2026 include the conference attendance and the coffee and lunch breaks for the 3 days of conference, and in-conference excursion. The pre-conference workshops, the conference dinner and the excursions to the Val Cervara and Latium old growth forests are optional and are not included in the general conference registration fees. Participants need to register and pay for them separately.
Early Career Scientists are particularly encouraged to participate to TRACE 2026.
NOTE: The registration fee does not include the annual membership fee for ATR.
However, it includes the membership fees for SISEF, in support of the organization of TRACE 2026, as billing, registration services, and account administration.
VERY IMPORTANT: All conference fees must be entirely paid BEFORE the start of the conference.
Please see below all the details regarding the payment. The on-site / cash paid registration will not be possible. An automated detailed invoice will be sent after the registration payment.
Please be aware that, under any circumstance, it will not be possible to ask for invoices during the conference days.
Payment can be made either by credit card (recommended) or by bank transfer.

Both for students and professionals, there are two payment options depending on their membership status in the Association for Tree-Ring Research (ATR):

Cancellation and Refund Policy of TRACE2026
Registration fees for TRACE2026 are refundable, minus bank charges, if the cancellation request is submitted by April 1, 2026.
Requests must be sent by e-mail to trace2026@sisef.org , including the participant’s name, payment details and motivation.
No refunds will be made after this date or in case of no-show.
In the event of cancellation or changes due to force majeure, the Organizing Committee may retain part of the fee to cover administrative expenses (30€).
